"Entry Set: , Console And Mirror In The Style"
Entrance set ... The set consists of two stools, a console and a coordinating mirror in the style of Pier Luigi Colli with a golden wrought iron structure and sage-colored upholstered seats. ✨The Colli Company✨ The Colli Company is today best known for its flourishing production from the 1900s, but has much older origins. Its year of foundation is in fact 1831, by the hand of Giuseppe Martinotti. It was born from the merger of two companies in 1926: Colli MIRAM and Martinotti; the former specializes in embroidery and handmade rugs, curtains and cushions, while the latter specializes in eclectic furniture and the nascent Liberty style. Thus a laboratory is created which can directly offer each piece of furniture. The company, in addition to providing refined furniture to the court of Savoy and the new bourgeoisie, also successfully participates in major international exhibitions. ✨Style✨ Colli's style is characterized by an artisanal and meticulous finishing of the surfaces of the furniture: wood and metal are in fact treated with tiny geometric carvings in the legs, armrests, drawers and doors as well as with knurls, incisions and grooves. Each particularly successful piece of furniture was offered again to other customers, always with small changes. The wrought-iron and gilded furniture with which the consoles, chairs, bedside tables and mirrors were made were particularly appreciated by the public, and the surface of the iron was finely decorated with carvings and arabesques. The gold of the structure was often contrasted with brightly colored fabrics such as red or green to enhance it. The eclectic style furniture brought back touches of freedom and modern geometries. The result had a strong decorative impact. The most important designer and remembered by the company is Pier Luigi Colli. Measures: - consolle cm. 83 x 29, high cm. 61 - mirror cm. 135 x 77
