Large and wide English office chair in solid mahogany, Chippendale style, manufacture of the second half of the 19th century. Magnificent work of openwork sculptures on the backrest as well as the base. This very comfortable seat is perfectly stable, the seat is high and very firm. It is covered with a beautiful garnet-red leather which has some minor cracks in use mainly located at the front of the seat (see photos). The whole is in good condition, the woodwork has undergone very small and old usual restorations. This seat has perfect comfort and refinement. Seat height: approximately 52cm
