Odiot - Oval Plate Warmer In Lined Metal 19th

Lined metal dish warmer from the ODIOT house in Paris.
The doubled metal is the 19th name of the silver metal.
A difference separates them, the doubled metal corresponds to a silver plating on copper, while the silver metal is on brass or white metal.
This large, high-quality dish warmer consists of 4 parts, the body resting on four feet, the 2 candle holders and its cover.
Decorated with a gadroon motif, on the turn and handles, acanthus leaves on the feet, stars and circles in openwork decorations, allowing ventilation and an oxygen supply for the burner.
Note scratches and micro shocks on the tray (see photos).
French work of the XIXth century, hallmarked "ODIOT A PARIS DOUBLÉ 20".
