This Saint Paul, from the 2nd half of the 17th century, is in wood and polychrome.
Standing, he wears the attributes that characterize him with the sword on his left, the instrument of his torment, and in his right hand, the book of his writings. His left hand and pointed fingers give movement and make it easy for us to imagine him on his exhausting journeys where he never ceased to spread the good news of the resurrection of Jesus.
This sculpture is in good condition with lacks due to time, including the fingers on the left hand, the toes of the right foot and the nose.
