"Christofle Art Nouveau Wine Jug"
Rare wine jug from the "Christofle" house from the Art Nouveau period (circa 1900) in silver metal and wheel cut crystal. Decor of "thistles" on Baccarat crystal reminiscent of Le Chevallier's work for "the crystal staircase" in the 1900s. Wine jug with a capacity of 75 cl. Marked with "Christofle silversmithing" in full on the collar. The spout in the shape of a bird's beak lets wine through while having the lid closed. Small lug on the handle allowing a perfect grip when in use. Baccarat star cut below. Perfect condition of the crystal and silver plating
