Napoleon III Gold Brooch, Opals And Diamonds

Charming brooch with floral decoration nicely scalloped with interlacing on a central motif forming an eye adorned with four opals and four diamonds. 750/00 gold work of great finesse, the hollow floral motifs were formerly garnished with navy blue enamel of which there are still some traces, take a good look at the photos.
Opals have extremely bright lights going from green, blue, orange red to purple when the pin is rotated in sunlight or electric light.
the four diamonds are also very bright and play well in light.
Thanks to this mix of opals and diamonds, this brooch looks very lively and alive.
