Denoel (1834) “Lys au mur rose”, gouache 31 X 40 cm mounted by a double Marie-Louise in a silver pink frame 49 X 59 cm.The Swiss artist, born in Marrakech in 1934, knows how to capture the light in her works as well as here where, chiseling the white of lily petals, she projects its shadow on a wall whose gradient of pink with Matissian accents in emphasizes the side tending towards abstraction.
