The hands are finely chiseled and mercury gilded.
The bronze friezes in the lower part of the clock have typical Louis XVI stylesfloral motifs and they are also mercury gilded.
The original mechanics has had a 19th century modification to the escapement.
The clock is signed "Duflas Paris", and was madein the last quarter of the 18th century.
It is in good working condition.
