Style of Gnathia: In this ancient city of Apulia, ancient name of Egnazia, on the Adriatic coast we found a large quantity of vases, covered with shiny black varnish, decorated relief ribs and small patterns (geometric, flower garlands or small objects) painted in white and yellow. It gave its name to this production, typical of all southern Italy from the end of the 4th century and throughout the 3rd century BC. J.-C.
