"Vacuum Chamber Or Sphere, Vacuum Arthur Pfeiffer & Analis Namur"
Vacuum chamber built by the German firm Arthur Pfeiffer. Dating from 1935 to 1950, it was sourced on the site of the old University of Liège, the Val Benoît, built in the mid-1930s. The instrument is in good condition, shows signs of normal wear and tear. The window no longer has its window. The interior of the box is almost impeccable, has one or two closed cracks and invisible from the outside. It is covered with a metallic membrane that looks like copper but given the absence of verdigris, I go for a zinc. This piece was legally acquired. Diameter 160 CM! Estimated weight 80 kg
