Young Woman with a Mirror, bronze covered with a brown patina, Jean Verschneider (1872-1943), signed on the terrace, c. 1930. Jean Verschneider, born in 1872 in Lyon (Rhône). Died in 1943. XIX-XXth siceles, French. Sculptor of mythological compositions. He was a student of Jacques Perrin and Jean Antoine Injalbert. He participated in Paris, at the Salon of French Artists, of which he was a member from 1908; he received an honorable mention in 1909.
