Adorned with grisaille miniatures attributed to Sauvage
Round box in spotted blond tortoiseshell, the lid inlaid with six miniatures painted in grisaille on ivory attributed to Piat Joseph Sauvage (Tournai, 1744-1818), depicting putti in mandorles circled in low-grade gold, in the center an interlaced monogram openwork probably in gold.
Good condition, slight chips.
