The handles of the ivory knives are adorned with mother-of-pearl, coral and vermeil to represent Art Nouveau scenes with flowers and birds.
The vermeil pieces also have Art Nouveau decorations, with a flower and leaf motif, highlighted by openwork metalwork.
Perfect condition of the vermeil pieces.
Good condition of the knives, note that the two ivory handles are split, which does not prevent their strength, and that on one of the two is missing two small coral patterns.
Everything is presented in a box made to measure for these pieces and bearing the following label: "Maison Jules Piault, Robert Linzeler Successor, Goldsmith 9 Rue d'Argenson, 9".
French work from the Art Nouveau period, late 19th, early 20th century, hallmarked with the neck brace, by the silversmith Robert Linzeler working between 1897 and 1926.
