Best known for his orientalist statues, Charles Cordier has produced many portraits such as those of Admiral Courbet (1885 and 1886) or of General Fleury (1863) and some religious statues. It also took part in the major projects of the Second Empire (Louvre Palace, Garnier opera house, the town hall ...) Good condition, missing a finger.
