Known for its production rich in allegories and busts, there is a tendency to neoclassicism. This terracotta sculpture signed Luca Madrassi represents an Allegory of the Harvests.
The grapes being the fruit of the harvest, the young woman carries a basket of them and throngs them at her feet. The treading at the foot of the grape is an old tradition sometimes still in activity, practiced specifically by young women. His face, executed in a refined and precise way, as well as his posture marked by a strong swaying hips reveal a mastered knowledge of anatomical proportions.
