"Chippendale Walnut Dining Table, By Maison Jellinek, Faubourg Saint Antoine"
Beautiful Chippendale style dining table, in walnut and walnut veneer, manufacture of the Jellinek house at Faubourg St Antoine in Paris, first half of the 20th century. This round table rests on four "claw and ball" legs typical of the Chippendale style. Its top has a pretty scalloped movement around its edge, the top of the top has a circular pattern. It had an extension system which has been removed. The mark of the workshop is visible under the top, this table is also numbered. This piece of furniture is in good house condition, it has undergone two small veneer restorations on the tray on which traces of use are also to be noted: they are mainly visible against the light (see last two photos)
