Olympic trophy, naked man celebrating the victory, bronze covered with a black patina, Louis Dupont (1896-1967), signed on the terrace. A few abraded areas on the nose, right forearm and a corner of the terrace. Louis Dupont (Waremme 1896 - 1967 Liège), sculptor - medalist - designer. Louis Dupont studied at the Academy of Liège where he was a pupil of the sculptor-medalist Georges Petit for 10 years. Married the painter Joséphine (Finette) Dupont (1899-1986), who sometimes exhibited with him. Creates a pediment for the Val Benoît abbey. For Liège he created the Resistance Memorial, with a group of stone men, a group of stone women and a bronze vase surrounded by a relief and the coats of arms of the nine Belgian provinces.
