Henri Jourdain appeared in Paris at the Salon de la Nationale des Beaux-Arts and at the Salon des Artistes Français. He is known for his watercolors and drawings. He has, among others, illustrated Madame Bovary de Flaubert, Monsieur de Lourdines, by A. de Chateaubriand, Les Lettres de mon moulin by Alphonse Daudet.
