Beautiful castellan hook in cast silver, cut in the pattern of a stylized heart, engraved with flowery branches and centered with two intertwined hearts pierced with an arrow.
Orfèvre J.P (perhaps the silversmith's mark of Poly Pierre Julien, rue Saint Denis n ° 179. Two jewels, one at the top, the other at the bottom. J P, insculpted on March 5, 1807).
Note the surnames * G * A * - ~ S ~ A ~, several overloaded writings and what seems to be a drawing (the whole more or less summarily engraved). Wears the hallmarks: of Garantie Province (round listel head of an old man) silver (2nd title hallmark, Province, octagonal list, with the second rooster and silversmith (Listel losangique with letters JP).
