This “The Violin” model dated 1904 is the first telephone to have the “pick up / hang up” function thanks to its mechanism, but also to have an aesthetic shape. The earpiece is a Type 3 receiver manufactured by ADER and has serial number 472308 with built-in magnet and 150 ohm coil. The microphone bears the number 53055 in the M.N. series of the SIT.
This phone has all its original features and has been mounted as a lamp in an elegant and decorative way. The lamp works perfectly and gives off a beautiful mood light above the varnished wood of the phone.
