Oil on canvas signed lower right Stevens, which is a contemporary cover of Jean Beraud and counterpart with another canvas by the same artist "Avenue parisienne" for sale on our gallery. The two paintings are represented in the last photo. The Vaudeville theater was at the corner of boulevard des Capucines n ° 2 and Chaussée d'Antin n ° 1, acquired in the late 1920s by the company Paramount. It is known today under the name of Gaumont-Opéra. This work is a beautiful representation of the atmosphere of the Third Republic on the grand boulevards.
