The Beach At Sunset By Charles Fouqueray (1869 - 1956)

Charles Fouqueray very early on embraced a career as a painter and navigator, multiplying trips and exhibitions to the four corners of the world. Appointed official painter of the navy in 1908, his works are today as much testimony of the former French colonies as of a life of trips to the sandstone of the oceans.
