"Louis XVI Relaqué Gray Bed"
Louis XVI period bed relaquered gray. Period late eighteenth. It consists of two symmetrical bedside tables of the same height. The rear uprights, leaning against the wall, are fluted and rudenté on each side. The front pillars are detached columns carved with twisted grooves and gadroons. The four uprights are surmounted by turned wood soup tureens. The top of each bedside is carved on each side of an eye braid adorned with a pearl and a foliated rosette. Assembly by lag bolts. The bottom of each bedside is carved with grooves on the exterior faces of the bed. The upholstery is in good condition but the fabric needs to be changed.
