"Salon Pedestal In Marquetry Of Sun, Middle Coffee Table. Louis XV Style."
Beautiful living room table, Louis XV style in marquetry, resting on four arched legs, each finished with a finely chiseled bronze shoe. The belt is pleasantly scalloped and covered with precious wood. This charming pedestal table is topped with a tray decorated with a remarkable work of "sun" curling, all surrounded by a thin circular rod entirely inlaid. Very nice work from the mid-twentieth century.
