Beautiful and rare Art Deco Cabinet / Small cabinet from France circa 1930. Nice veneer of yellow brown Amboyna roots (amboyna burl), glossy clear lacquer finish. Original brass handles on white leather half-moon decorations, one on each door. On the top in the middle, looking like a drawer, there is a brass key socket. The lock closes in the left door and locks the two doors, which are together by tongue and groove. Inside, it is oak veneer on softwood with an English drawer in solid cherry wood above and a sliding plate in oak veneer in the middle. The body and the lower plinth can be separated, the body being placed on top of the plinth, it holds by its own weight. The base is in black lacquered wood, on the 4 columns, there are decorative decorations in solid brass. Completely restored condition.
