In the style of Frederic Sackrider REMINGTON (1861-1909).
RARE inkwell with tilting lid in gilded bronze.
Period of the first years of the twentieth.
Head of an Indian chief used as an inkwell whose articulated cap reveals the location of the bucket.
The lower part of the headdress serves as a pen holder.
Dimensions:

Height: 11.6 cm.
Depth: 16.8 cm max.
IN VERY GOOD CONDITION (missing the inner bucket).
Fredéric Sackrider REMINGTON (1861-1909), American painter and sculptor specializing in representations of the American Far West.
