Round box in brown tortoiseshell, gold cage mount. It is decorated with a circular pattern and fine friezes of flowers. Each circular pattern and floret is inlaid with small iridescent mother-of-pearl pellets. Some missing mother-of-pearl.

Discharge mark: head of cherub (1781-1783).
Charge mark: letter crowned date T: 1783.
