"Louis XV Canne Armchair"
Louis XV caned armchair. Middle 18th century. In stained beech, this armchair is molded and carved with foliage. It rests on four arched feet ending in acanthus leaves. The belt is eventful. The top of the feet and the front crosspiece are carved with flowers and foliage. The armrests consoles are worked like a whip. The backrest is carved for its part with a central cartouche at the top, foliage scrolls at the shoulder as well as at the lower angles. Note the base of the file which is worked in brace.
