He was the editor of the first pieces of furniture by Robert Mallet-Stevens. His creations were often used in the fittings of Robert Mallet-Stevens, who also attributed the design of some of them, which could be the case for this pair of cross-bar benches. These benches have been completely disassembled, restored and lacquered white as originally in our cabinetmaking workshops. They carry their brass plaques engraved with the inscription "Pierre Dariel - 45 Rue de Penthièvre - Paris" We also have some original cushions in orange canvas.
