"Bellows Gloves Case Late 19th Century"
A beautiful brown leather case with bellows and brass frame. Sliding spring clasp in good condition. Interior in blue moiré silk (some old insect holes, see photos). The clips are missing. A golden stamp indicates the house from which this case comes. It is about Louis Dujat, successor of the Smal house, at the Royal Palace and supplier of the imperial family under Napoleon III. Small alterations to the leather. The cover is decorated with a handle in strands of leather embellished with braided brass threads (visible wear). It is marked with two initials CC surmounted by a baron's crown. I am offering three pairs of crocheted gloves (see photos) one black pair and two ecru pairs. Delivery: 10 € for metropolitan France.
