"Old Table Bouquet Of Peony 1930 Still Life Carnations Frame Signed Alphonse Fauré"
Old and charming post-impressionist painting / oil on canvas, signed lower left Alphonse Fauré (1865-1947), painter from Toulouse, circa 1900-1920, representing a Still Life with a bouquet of flowers in a vase (gladioli, peonies, carnations. ..) and the book on an entablature in its Montparnasse frame. The still lifes, essentially floral, constitute an important part of this artist's work, one of them is kept at the Musée des Augustins. A very beautiful palette for this Still Life where pink, white, mauve are declined with grace. The set is in good condition, see photos above. Dimensions: total 65 cm x 54 cm, canvas only 46 cm x 38 cm
