Bronze statuette with brown-green patina, produced in the first part of the 20th century representing a girl wearing two conch shells in her ears to listen to "Echo of the sea" title of the work signed on the base: L ALLIOT, numbering and mark of the founder Unis France. Some wear of seniority, good general condition. Lucien Charles Edouard ALLIOT was born in Paris (1877/1967) he learned sculpture with Barrias and Jules Coutant, he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1896, among his many awards, he received a gold medal in 1920, he was appointed member of the jury from 1934 to 1939, his style, well anchored in the Art-Deco era, was produced mainly between the two wars.
