"Large Subject In German Biscuit Heubach Piano Baby With Lievres / Rabbits Germany Nineteenth 1900"
Old & big piano baby. Rare model with hares measuring 23cm in height. Work of the German house Heubach, mainly known for its porcelain dolls. Subject dating from the end of the 19th century. In very good condition. In all the beautiful houses with refined decoration, there was no shortage of one or more babies of different sizes on the piano. Their use was not only decorative but also intended to hold in place the embroidered shawl or fine lace of the pianist.
