Attributed to Édouard-Antoine Marsal. Édouard-Antoine Marsal born July 4, 1845 in Montpellier and died in 1929, is a French painter and illustrator.
He entered the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris where he studied with Alexandre Cabanel, before becoming himself a teacher at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Montpellier.
He exhibited at the Salon from 1868 to 1888.
