We offer you this very beautiful Warrobe trunk-cabin from the 1930s, no doubt manufactured by Innovation in its Vincennes factory. Intended to carry all the traveller's personal belongings, it has plenty of storage space. On one of the halves, 2 telescopic hangers in chromed steel allow jackets, suits and suits to be hung on the 8 hangers provided.
At the bottom, 2 flexible fabric pockets are intended to receive the shoes, thus isolating them from the clothes suspended above. In the other half, we have a large tilting compartment which is held open by 2 straps: the clothes stored there can be separated using a plate and strapped in order to avoid being wrinkled when closing this compartment. Below, we have 2 drawers and the set once closed is firmly immobilized using a chrome steel grab bar. On the top, there remains a storage space intended to receive toilet bags and other small personal effects. The original interior canvas is in very good condition with a few small stains. The drawers have beautiful chrome steel handles typical of the Art Deco style. Externally, the fittings are complete, the trunk locks (the key is later), the brasses are in original condition without having been brushed or polished in a flashy way and the leather handle, still present, allows the trunk to be moved .
The coated canvas is in very good condition and has rare traces of transport. Superbly preserved in its original state with all its accessories, we have here a beautiful object of decoration.
In addition, its former owner told us that this trunk-cabin had two transatlantic crossings to its credit, which undoubtedly gives it a little extra soul! Dimensions: 102 x 55 x 35cm Weight 22kg
