"Library Buffet In Woodwork XVIII Italy, Cherubs, Acanthus ..."
Superb and very richly carved buffet forming a library composed of old woodwork elements dating from the 18th century. The facade is carved with pilasters with cherubs and fruit falls and a multitude of interlacings of acanthus leaves, rosettes and spandrels. Very deep and fat sculpture adding a theatrical effect to the whole. It opens with a door which holds thanks to an acanthus leaf which serves as a latch. A shelf at the bottom and another in the open part (recent shelf). The sides receive shelves and a surprising brass riveted cross. Totally atypical piece of furniture which will give a crazy charm to your interior. The winding is old with very beautiful elements from the late 17th or early 18th century.
