"Mantel Clock With Cupid And Rooster"
Design by Michel Victor Acier, c. 1770. Putto seated on a rectangular plinth, reading the madrigals of François Augustin Paradis de Moncrif in a book "Le tems (sic!) Esfuit ..." and leaning against a round clock, crowned by a fully sculpted rooster with wings deployed. Porcelain with colorful paint and golden decoration. Saks porcelain.
