This plate was made from an annonymous Italian engraving from the end of the 16th century.
Note also another plate very similar in its composition with Cain in the background, a pendant from the history of this passage from the Bible. See photos n0 3 and 4.
Condition: note 2 tiny enamel swings in the upper left and lower right coins, mostly hidden by the frame.
Sizes 27*19.5cm for the plate and 48.5*40cm with its frame. Blackened and carved wood frame with hard stone inlays (lapis lazzuli, Siena and Lepento red marbles)
