Beautiful Christ in carved ivory of beautiful dimensions (height 21 cm) presented in a frame with gilded wood (gilded) with an interesting pediment with the rare symbolism of the Pelican who feeds his children with his flesh, symbol of the Eucharist.the frame has been re-gilded, the glazing beads are in places split, but without missing, the frame has a few slight chips here and there, the background velor has been replaced by old burgundy velor in wine-red color.
