"Persian Rug 399cmx358cm"
Persian rug "Herat", 399cm X 358cm, hand-knotted rug, known for its "Herati" pattern: this pattern owes its name to the city of Herat ("fish") which is located in the north-west of the Afghanistan. It is a common pattern that is mostly found on hand-knotted rugs from Iran. It is composed of a flower inside a rhombus surrounded by four acanthus leaves. These leaves, because of their resemblance, are sometimes also called fish, and this pattern is often used on repeating pattern rugs.
