At the base of the shaft a first node takes up the motifs of foliage and medallions followed by a constriction; the barrel itself, is with grooves interspersed with three rings decorated with water leaves surmounted by a "flame" supporting a second knot whose particularity is to present a jagged edge with a floral garland of roses.
Higher up, a second constriction followed by a gadrooned ring from which rises a richly crafted binet with patterns as a reminder of the different elements of the object.
The whole is a beautiful aesthetic success and although they do not seem to bear signatures these torches are certainly the work of a renowned bronze artist.
Formerly gilded, it must be admitted that the gilding is largely absent but still remains a little in the funds of the most "excavated, thin" places.
