Zoomorphic in shape, nicely sculpted, it rests on a triangular-shaped tripod base; the approximately rectangular curved work surface has at its uppermost end an animal head which appears to represent a cricket or a turtle; this last part is perforated to accentuate the physiognomy of the head.
