"Holy Woman In XIXth Earthenware. La Rochelle??"
Holy woman faence west of France: La Rochelle perhaps?? XIXth century. Good condition. No restoration. She carries the child on her left arm. It would not be the Blessed Virgin because of the veil that covers the head and cross on the chest garment. We are in the presence of about ungrand glazed earthenware and cracked.
