Noël Pichot (1900/1972) Very inspired by hunting and the Lyon region, his two passions have influenced his style. He entered the school of fine arts where he studied. His beginning of activity as a painter includes two periods before and after the war. Before the war, where this watercolor is located, he made sketches or watercolors during walks in the Dombes, in the Lyonnaise region or in the south. After the war he took a studio and exhibited in private galleries or official exhibitions: Museum of Fine Arts, Galerie Bellecour. He died in 1972 after having devoted himself entirely to painting.
