Set comprising the original manuscript, the typescript and the original edition of this famous novel "The Venerable and the Curé" by André Lebey published in 1928 in two volumes.

- The half-canvas bound typescript is composed of 430 typed pages with erasures and modifications by the author.
- The edition in two volumes of 283 pp. and 204 pp. from 1928, publisher Albin Michel in Paris is period bound in good condition.
André LEBEY
Writer, poet, politician, socialist, knight of the Legion of Honour, was introduced to Freemasonry in 1908 at the "Victor Hugo" lodge of the Godf, he also attended the lodge "la Jérusalem Ecossaise No. 99" of the Gldf. He was received at the Chapter of the "Clemente Amitié" in 1912 and was very active in the Conseil de l'Ordre, the Grand College des Rites and the Supreme Conseil pour la France.
