"Louis XIV Armchair, High Backrest, Early 18th Century."
Louis XIV armchair in walnut, with high inclined backrest, from the beginning of the 18th century. This very beautiful seat rests on two front legs turned into a baluster and two rear legs with cut sides, connected by an X-shaped spacer, surmounted by a spinning top. They end with half-pancakes. The armrest supports are recessed, the armrests in the shape of a butt .. The upholstery is in house condition and still remains comfortable. It is covered with a velvet fabric from Genoa, small wear of the velvet at the front of aasise (see last photo).
