"Crosshair Bag In Pearls Art Deco Period Circa 1925"
Delicate and rare reticule from the Roaring Twenties embroidered with polychrome iridescent metal beads from the Art Deco period. Entirely fashioned - embroidered and sewn - by hand, with multicolored pearls, some in marcasite, on a background of a delicate color difficult to define close to salmon, decorated with stylized flowers in several tones of a typical graphic of the time . The flap is doubly decorated inside and out; inside a small pearly button allows the bag to be closed. French made. On the lining is indicated: "Made in Paris France". It is extended all the way through a curtain of fringed grids in gradation of the same colors bordered by small flowers in marcasite beads. A small bar placed under the lining stiffens the entrance. Matching handle. Good condition. Dimensions: Height with fringes 20 cm X 17 cm wide and 38 cm high including handle. A beautiful collector's item, more beautiful in reality than in the photos!
