"Louis XV Cage Chandelier, Crystal"
Louis XV style cage chandelier, in gilded bronze and cut crystal pendants, with 6 sconces. The interior of the cage has in the lower central part a cone with cut sides, also known as a dagger, and in the upper part a small ball with tenon. The top part is adorned in its center with a small crystal baluster connected to a mustache pavilion from which escapes cut crystal plates. The sconces are decorated with cut crystal plates and alternated by large daggers surmounted by other small daggers housed in calupets from which escape small mustaches retaining tenon balls. The lighting binets are based on large cup-shaped bobeches simulating large petals. The lamp base ends with a gilt bronze ornament of triangular shape with foliage decorations on which is suspended a cut and blown crystal ball. Electrification in very good working order.
