Three fine and amusing groups of cold painted early 20th century pugs by Bergman, with excellent hand-chiseled surface detail and fine naturalistic color, each group signed with Bergman's 'B' in an amphora vase, representing three pairs of naughty pugs.

Size: approx: 6cm long x 3cm high.

Franz Xavier Bergman (1861 - 1936) is the most famous of Viennese artists of “cold painted bronze”. Known for its great attention to detail and the use of wonderfully vibrant colors, the works of the Bergman Foundry are now highly prized by collectors around the world.
