"Rare Vase With Sunflowers Cristallerie De Pantin Art Nouveau"
Creation around 1890-1900, rare signature "au Pantin". A fine example of the Art Nouveau naturalist repertoire. Large vase in colorless blown glass decorated with yellow flowers of sunflowers painted with polychrome enamels. The enamel is thick; the very moving flowers and leaves of sunflowers on their blue-green colored stems. Beautiful contrast between the enamel of the flowers of a powerful yellow and their leaves with translucent green enamel. The decor is entirely surrounded by black enamel. Height: 22, 3 cm Circumference: 48 cm Diameter: 15 cm Signed "au puppet" in black enamel on the body of the vase. This rare puppet signature is listed under the number 672 heading: marks and signatures of the work "Europe of glass art" by Guiseppe Cappa, well known to art nouveau art deco glass lovers and collectors. Good condition. This vase is old and has been used: slight marks of age and scratches from use. Its pontil has been perfectly ground.
